The ears make him a bit rabbity. However, in thinking about it, do you remember the Margot Austin illustrations? (She did a LOT of work for Jack and Jill magazine back in the day, and a couple wonderful picture books about Peter Churchmouse. Your little guy looks not unlike Master Peter! Google her!
I’m flattered! I do recognize her work (I had to Google).
Love those old illustrations. I just saw new editions of Ferdinand the Bull, and Ping, in a really really large format, in Barnes and Noble I think, and I really really wanted them! Cooler heads prevailed, however.
Ms. Clouds in the Night Sky has been thinking a lot about life lately. Some due to the natural development of life, and some due to a series of unfortunate occurances. Sometimes it seems that everyone in her life has gone through similar life-changing experiences. Is it our age--boomers? Is it the economy? The world? Whatever the reason, Ms. Clouds in the Night Sky has had to find a way to cope, and more than cope, enjoy and be in the now. So to speak.
If you, also, are looking at your life, wondering just how you got here and what to do now that you ARE here, well, I hope you enjoy a look at Clouds in the Night Sky. And, please share!
